          NQO1 Antibody (MA5-16098) in Flow

Flow cytometry analysis of NQO1 in U-87 cells. Samples were incubated with NQO1 monoclonal antibody (Product # MA5-16098) using a dilution of 2.5 µg/mL for 30 minutes at room temperature. An intracellular stain was performed with primary antibody (blue) and a matched isotype control (orange). Cells were fixed with 4% PFA and then permeabilized with 0.1% saponin. {{ $ctrl.currentElement.advancedVerification.fullName }} validation info. View more

          Target Information

NQO1 is a member of the NAD(P)H dehydrogenase (quinone) family and a cytoplasmic 2-electron reductase. This FAD-binding protein forms homodimers and reduces quinones to hydroquinones. NQO1's enzymatic activity prevents the one electron reduction of quinones that results in the production of radical species. Altered expression of the protein has been seen in many tumors and is also associated with Alzheimer's disease (AD).
