Intestinal Alkaline Phosphatase Antibody (MA5-27103) in IHC (P)
Immunohistochemistry was performed on paraffin-embedded human kidney tissue. To expose target proteins, heat-induced epitope retrieval by 10mM citric buffer, pH6.0, 100°C for 10min. Following antigen retrieval, tissues were probed with a ALPI monoclonal antibody (Product # MA5-27103) at a dilution of 1:500.

Target Information
There are at least four distinct but related alkaline phosphatases: intestinal, placental, placental-like, and liver/bone/kidney (tissue non-specific). The intestinal alkaline phosphatase gene encodes a digestive brush-border enzyme. This enzyme is upregulated during small intestinal epithelial cell differentiation.
