SEC11A Antibody (MA5-27472) in IHC (P)
Immunohistochemistry was performed on paraffin-embedded human kidney tissue. To expose target proteins, heat-induced epitope retrieval by 1mM EDTA in 10mM Tris buffer (pH8.5) at 120°C for 3 min. Following antigen retrieval, tissues were probed with a SEC11A monoclonal antibody (Product # MA5-27472) at a dilution of 1:150.

Target Information
This gene encodes a member of the peptidase S26B family. The encoded protein is an 18kDa subunit of the signal peptidase complex and has been linked to cell migration and invasion, gastric cancer and lymph node metastasis. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. A related pseudogene has been identified on chromosome 8.
