CD155 Antibody (MA5-29762) in ICC/IF
Immunofluorescence staining of Mouse CD155(m CD155) in raw264.7 cells. Cells were fixed with 4% PFA, blocked with 10% serum, and incubated with CD155 Recombinant Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody (305) (Product # MA5-29762, 1:100) at 4°C overnight. Then cells were stained with the Alexa Fluor® 488-conjugated (left panel, captured by laser confocal scanning microscope; right panel, captured by fluorescence microscope) Goat Anti-rabbit IgG secondary antibody , counterstained with DAPI (blue). Positive staining was localized to plasma membrane.

Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The expression systems are developed by cloning in the specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Then, individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production. The advantages of using recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies include: better specificity and sensitivity, lot-to-lot consistency, animal origin-free formulations, and broader immunoreactivity to diverse targets due to larger rabbit immune repertoire.
This antibody has specificity for Mouse CD155/PVR.
Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene is a transmembrane glycoprotein belonging to the immunoglobulin superfamily. The external domain mediates cell attachment to the extracellular matrix molecule vitronectin, while its intracellular domain interacts with the dynein light chain Tctex-1/DYNLT1. The gene is specific to the primate lineage, and serves as a cellular receptor for poliovirus in the first step of poliovirus replication. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
