CAPZA1 Antibody (MA5-36109) in ICC/IF
Immunocytochemical analysis of CAPZA1 in SiHa cells using a CAPZA1 monoclonal antibody (Product #MA5-36109). Formalin fixed cells were permeabilized with 0.1% Triton X-100 in TBS for 10 minutes at room temperature and blocked with 1% Blocker BSA for 15 minutes at room temperature. Cells were probed with the primary antibody for 1 hour at room temperature, washed with PBS. Alexa Fluor®488 Goat anti-Mouse IgG was used as the secondary antibody at 1:1,000 dilution. The nuclear counter stain is DAPI.

CAPZA1 is a member of the F-actin capping protein alpha subunit family. This gene encodes the alpha subunit of the barbed-end actin binding protein. The protein regulates growth of the actin filament by capping the barbed end of growing actin filaments.
