MAT2B Antibody (PA5-26542) in IHC (P)
Immunohistochemistry analysis of MAT2B in formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human breast carcinoma. Samples were incubated with MAT2B polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-26542) which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated.

Target Information
MAT2B belongs to the methionine adenosyltransferase (MAT) family. MAT catalyzes the biosynthesis of S-adenosylmethionine from methionine and ATP. This protein is the regulatory beta subunit of MAT. Alternative splicing occurs at this locus and two transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been identified.
