MDC1 Antibody (PA5-97022) in ICC/IF
Immunofluorescence analysis of Mediator of DNA damage checkpoint protein 1 was performed using 70% confluent log phase HCT 116 Nocodazole treated (200 nmol/L for 16hrs). The cells were fixed with 4% paraformaldehyde for 10 minutes, permeabilized with 0.1% Triton™ X-100 for 15 minutes, and blocked with 2% BSA for 45 minutes at room temperature. Target Information
MDC1 participates in the early response to DNA damage. It is thought to be a member of the BRCT (BRCA1 C-terminus) super family of nuclear proteins. It contains an N-terminus forkhead-associated (FHA) motif, two C-terminus BRCT motifs and 13 internal repetitions of a 41 amino acid sequence.
