MGEA5 Antibody in Immunocytochemistry (ICC/IF) — Immunofluorescent analysis of (4% PFA) fixed HepG2 cells using MGEA5 antibody (Product # 14711-1-AP) at dilution of 1:200 and CoraLite®488-Conjugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L), CL594-Phalloidin (red).

MGEA5 Antibody in Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin) (IHC (P)) — Immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded human meningioma tissue slide using 14711-1-AP (MGEA5 Antibody) at dilution of 1:200 (under 40x lens). heat mediated antigen retrieved with Tris-EDTA buffer (pH 9).

MGEA5 Antibody in Western Blot (WB) — Mouse pancreas tissue were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 14711-1-AP (MGEA5 antibody) at dilution of 1:500 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours.

MGEA5 Antibody in Immunoprecipitation (IP) — IP result of anti-MGEA5 (IP: 14711-1-AP, 3 µg; Detection: 14711-1-AP 1:500) with SH-SY5Y cells lysate 2900 µg.

Target Information

This gene encodes a member of the Ikaros family of zinc-finger proteins. Three members of this protein family (Ikaros, Aiolos and Helios) are hematopoietic-specific transcription factors involved in the regulation of lymphocyte development. This protein forms homo- or hetero-dimers with other Ikaros family members, and is thought to function predominantly in early hematopoietic development. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene, but the biological validity of some variants has not been determined.
