PA5-31506 targets MTIF3 in WB applications and shows reactivity with Human samples.
The PA5-31506 immunogen is recombinant fragment corresponding to a region within amino acids 1 and 203 of Human MTIF3.
This gene encodes a translation initiation factor that is involved in mitochondrial protein synthesis. Polymorphism in this gene is associated with the onset of Parkinson and apos;s disease. Alternate splicing results in multiple transcript variants. A pseudogene of this gene is found on chromosome 5.
