MYST2 Antibody (PA5-112332) in ICC/IF

Immunocytochemistry-Immunofluorescence analysis of MYST2 in PC3 cells. Cells were fixed with 4% PFA, permeabilized with 0.1% Triton X-100 in PBS, blocked with 10% serum, and incubated with MYST2 Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-112332) (1:200) at 4°C overnight. Then cells were stained with the Alexa Fluor 488-conjugated Goat Anti-rabbit IgG secondary antibody (green). Positive staining was localized to Nucleus.

MYST2 Antibody in Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin) (IHC (P)) — Immunohistochemistry analysis of MYST2 in formalin-fixed paraffin embedded sections human stomach tissue sections using MYST2 Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-112332) at a dilution of 1:200.

MYST2 Antibody in Western Blot (WB) — Western Blot analysis of MYST2 using MYST2 Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-112332) at a dilution of 1:500. Lane A: Jurkat whole cell lysate, Lane B: HeLa whole cell lysate, (Lysates/proteins at 30 µg per lane). The secondary antibody used was a Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L)/HRP at 1:10,000 dilution. Developed using the ECL technique and performed under reducing conditions. Predicted band size: 71 kDa. Observed band size: 75 kDa.

MYST2 Antibody in Immunoprecipitation (IP) — Immunoprecipitation of MYST2 was performed on (Lane A) 0.5 mg Jurkat whole cell lysate using 4 µL of MYST2 Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-112332) at a dilution of 1:100, and 60 µg of Immunomagnetic beads Protein A/G. A Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L)/HRP was used as a secondary antibody at a dilution of 1:10,000. Developed using the ECL technique and performed under reducing conditions. Predicted band size: 71 kDa. Observed band size: 90 kDa.

Target Information

This gene encodes a member of the hepatoma-derived growth factor family. The encoded protein has mitogenic and DNA-binding activity and may play a role in cellular proliferation and differentiation. This gene was thought initially to be located on chromosome X, however, that location has been determined to correspond to a related pseudogene. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been described.
