NOTCH3 Antibody (PA5-47120) in ICC/IF
Immunocytochemistry analysis of NOTCH3 was detected in immersion fixed frozen sections of mouse embryo (E13). The cells were labeled with NOTCH3 Goat Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-47120) using a dilution of 3 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C. Tissue was stained using the NorthernLights™ 557-conjugated Anti-Goat IgG Secondary Antibody (red) counterstained with DAPI (blue). Specific staining was localized to the cell surface.

In direct ELISAs, less than 10% cross-reactivity with recombinant human Notch-3 is observed and less than 5% cross-reactivity with recombinant rat (rr) Notch-1 and rrNotch-2 is observed.
Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
Endoxin level is <0.10 EU per 1 µg of the antibody by the LAL method.
Target Information
NOTCH3 is the third discovered human homologue of the Drosophilia melanogaster type I membrane protein notch. In Drosophilia, notch interaction (with its cell-bound ligands delta, serrate) establishes an intercellular signalling pathway that plays a key role in neural development. Homologues of the notch-ligands have also been identified in human. NOTCH3 functions as a receptor for membrane-bound ligands Jagged1, Jagged2, and Delta1 to regulate cell-fate determination. Mutations in NOTCH3 have been identified as the underlying cause of cerebral autosomal dominant arteriopathy with subcortical infarcts and leukoencephalopathy (CADASIL).
