NUP43 Antibody (A303-975A) in IP
Detection of human NUP43 by western blot of immunoprecipitates. Samples: Whole cell lysate (1 mg for IP; 20% of IP loaded) from HeLa cells. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-NUP43 antibody (Product # A303-975A) (lot 1) used for IP at 6 µg/mg lysate. NUP43 was inefficiently immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-NUP43 antibody A303-976A. For blotting immunoprecipitated NUP43, A303-976A was used at 1 µg/mL. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 30 seconds.

Target Information
Component of the Nup107-160 subcomplex of the nuclear pore complex (NPC). The Nup107-160 subcomplex is required for the assembly of a functional NPC. The Nup107-160 subcomplex is also required for normal kinetochore microtubule attachment, mitotic progression and chromosome segregation.
