CPLX2 Antibody (PA5-48069) in ICC/IF
Immunocytochemistry analysis of CPLX2 was detected in SH-SY5Y human neuro-blastoma cells (cultured overnight in the presence of 1 mM Retinoic Acid). The cells were labeled with CPLX2 Goat Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-48069) The cells were stained with the NorthernLights 557-conjugated Donkey Anti-Goat IgG Affinity-purified Secondary Antibody (red). Actin filaments were stained with FITC-conjugated Phalloidin (green) and the nuclei were counterstained with DAPI (blue). Complexin-2 immunoreactivity was localized to synaptic vesicles.

This antibody detects endogenous human, mouse and rat Complexin-2 in Western blots.
Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
Target Information
Proteins encoded by the complexin/synaphin gene family are cytosolic proteins that function in synaptic vesicle exocytosis. These proteins bind syntaxin, part of the SNAP receptor. The protein product of this gene binds to the SNAP receptor complex and disrupts it, allowing transmitter release. Two transcript variants encoding the same protein have been found for this gene.
