RAN Antibody (PA5-79913) in ICC/IF
Immunocytochemistry analysis of Ran using anti-Ran antibody (Product # PA5-79913) . Ran was detected in a section of U2OS cells. Enzyme antigen retrieval was performed using IHC enzyme antigen retrieval reagent for 15 mins. The cells were blocked with 10% goat serum and then incubated with 2μg/mL rabbit anti-Ran antibody (Product # PA5-79913) overnight at 4°C. Target Information
Ran (ras-related nuclear protein) is a small GTP binding protein belonging to the RAS superfamily that is essential for the translocation of RNA and proteins through the nuclear pore complex. The Ran protein is also involved in control of DNA synthesis and cell cycle progression. Nuclear localization of Ran requires the presence of regulator of chromosome condensation 1 (RCC1).
