PA5-31079 targets PAN2 in WB applications and shows reactivity with Human samples.
The PA5-31079 immunogen is recombinant fragment corresponding to a region within amino acids 858 and 1090 of Human PAN2.
This gene encodes a deadenylase that functions as the catalytic subunit of the polyadenylate binding protein dependent poly(A) nuclease complex. The encoded protein is a magnesium dependent 3 and apos; to 5 and apos; exoribonuclease that is involved in the degradation of cytoplasmic mRNAs. Alternate splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
