PAR1 Antibody in Immunocytochemistry (ICC/IF) — Immunocytochemistry analysis of PAR1 in HepG2. Samples were treated with PFA, permeabilized in 0.1% Triton X-100, blocked in 10% serum (45 min at 25°C), and incubated with polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-116040) at a dilution of 1:200 (1 hr at 37°C). Secondary staining was applied with mouse anti-beta tubulin; AlexaFluor 594 conjugated goat anti-rabbit IgG (Red); AlexaFluor 88 conjugated goat anti-mouse IgG (Green) and DAPI (blue) using a dilution of 1:200 (1 hr at 37°C).

PAR1 Antibody in Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin) (IHC (P)) — Immunohistochemistry analysis of PAR1 in rat kidney tissue. Samples were treated with formaldehyde and treated with citrate buffer for antigen retrieval, blocked, and incubated (1.5 hours at 22°C) with polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-116040) at a dilution of 1:100. Secondary staining was applied with HRP conjugated anti-Rabbit.

PAR1 Antibody in Western Blot (WB) — Western blot analysis of PAR1 in various samples (Lane 1: Mouse heart lysates; Lane 2: Mouse brain lysates; Lane 3: Mouse brain lysates treated with blocking peptide ). Samples were incubated with polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-116040).

Target Information

Thrombin is a serine protease that is involved in platelet aggregation and blood coagulation. It is cleaved from its precursor, prothrombin, and converts fibrinogen to fibrin in the final step of the clotting cascade. Thrombin mediates its regulatory effects by activating cell surface G-protein coupled receptors which include PAR-1, PAR-2 and PAR3.
