PAX5 Antibody (BS-1861R) in Flow
Mouse spleen were fixed with 4% PFA for 10 min at room temperature, permeabilized with 90% ice-cold methanol for 20 min at -20°C, and incubated in 5% BSA blocking buffer for 30 min at room temperature. Cells were then stained with PAX5 Polyclonal Antibody (bs-1861R) at 1:50 dilution in blocking buffer and incubated for 30 min at room temperature, washed twice with 2% BSA in PBS, followed by secondary antibody (blue) incubation for 40 min at room temperature. Target Information
PAX5 is a member of the paired box (PAX) family of transcription factors. The PAX proteins are important regulators in early development and alterations in the expression of their genes are thought to contribute to neoplastic transformation. PAX5 is the B-cell lineage specific activator protein (BSAP) that is expressed at early, but not late stages, of B-cell differentiation. Its expression has also been detected in developing CNS and testis, therefore, PAX5 may not only play an important role in B-cell differentiation, but also in neural development and spermatogenesis.
