Western blot analysis of PCCA in (lane 2) Gene specific transient over-expression HEK293T cell lysate and (lane 3) Empty vector transfected control HEK293T cell lysate. Samples were probed with a PCCA polyclonal antibody (Product # PA1-27572) at a dilution of 1:1000. Secondary detection was performed using a peroxidase conjugated Rabbit anti-Chicken IgY (IgG) at a 1:10,000 dilution and developed with TMB Substrate.

PA1-27572 detects PCCA from human samples.
PA1-27572 may be successfully used in Western blot applications. By Western blot, this antibody has only been tested on fusion protein.
The immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to human Propionyl-CoA carboxylase alpha chain. Mitochondrial.
PCCA encodes the alpha subunit of the heterodimeric mitochondrial enzyme Propionyl-CoA carboxylase. PCCA encodes the biotin-binding region of this enzyme. Mutations in either PCCA or PCCB (encoding the beta subunit) lead to an enzyme deficiency result in
