PGRMC1 Antibody in Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin) (IHC (P)) — Immunohistochemistry analysis of PGRMC1 in formalin-fixed paraffin embedded sections human kidney tissue sections using PGRMC1 Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-112234) at a dilution of 1:100.

PGRMC1 Antibody in Western Blot (WB) — Western Blot analysis of PGRMC1 using PGRMC1 Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-112234) at a dilution of 1:500. Lane A: MCF7 whole cell lysate, Lane B: HepG2 whole cell lysate, Lane C: Hela whole cell lysate, Lane D: Jurkat whole cell lysate, (Lysates/proteins at 30 µg per lane). The secondary antibody used was a Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L)/HRP at 1:10,000 dilution. Developed using the ECL technique and performed under reducing conditions. Predicted band size: 22 kDa. Observed band size: 24 kDa.

PGRMC1 Antibody in Immunoprecipitation (IP) — Immunoprecipitation of PGRMC1 was performed on (Lane A) 0.5 mg MCF7 whole cell lysate using 4 µL of PGRMC1 Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-112234) at a dilution of 1:100, and 60 µg of Immunomagnetic beads Protein A/G. A Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L)/HRP was used as a secondary antibody at a dilution of 1:10,000. Developed using the ECL technique and performed under reducing conditions. Predicted band size: 22 kDa. Observed band size: 25 kDa.

Target Information

The protein encoded by this gene is a transforming protein that is related to Rho-specific exchange factors and yeast cell cycle regulators. The expression of this gene is elevated with the onset of DNA synthesis and remains elevated during G2 and M phases. In situ hybridization analysis showed that expression is at a high level in cells undergoing mitosis in regenerating liver. Thus, this protein is expressed in a cell cycle-dependent manner during liver regeneration, and is thought to have an important role in the regulation of cytokinesis.
