Immunofluorescence Microscopy of PIAS2 antibody. Tissue: Rat brain tissue. Fixation: 0.5% PFA. Antigen retrieval: not required. Primary antibody: PIAS2 antibody at 20 µg/mL for 1 hr at RT. Secondary antibody: Fluorescein rabbit secondary antibody at 1:10,000 for 45 min at RT. Localization: PIAS2 is nuclear. Staining: PIAS2 as red fluorescent signal.

Target Information
This gene encodes a protein involved in the regulation of transcription factors involved in MAP kinase signaling. The symbol MIZ1 has also been associated with ZBTB17 which is a different gene located on chromosome 1. Two alternatively spliced transcripts encoding different isoforms have been described.
