Percent identity with other species by BLAST analysis: Human, Gorilla, Gibbon, Monkey (100%); Marmoset, Mouse, Rat, Dog, Hamster (94%); Elephant, Panda, Rabbit (88%); Bovine, Horse, Pig (81%).
For IHC(P), use heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen.
Target Information
PLA2G3 belongs to the family of secreted phospholipase A2 (sPLA2; EC 3.1.1.4) proteins. These Ca(2+)-dependent lipolytic enzymes have a conserved Ca(2+)-binding loop and a his-asp dyad in the catalytic site.
