PLCD3 Antibody (PA5-47717) in WB
Western blot analysis of PLCD3 in HT‚29 human colon adenocarcinoma cell line, 293T human embryonic kidney cell line, Jurkat human acute T cell leukemia cell line, and NIH‚3T3 mouse embryonic fibroblast cell line. Samples were incubated in PLCD3 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-47717) using a dilution of 1 µg/mL followed by a HRP-conjugated Anti-Goat IgG secondary antibody. Specific bands were detected for PLC‚δ3 at approximately 100‚110 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions.

Target Information
This gene encodes a member of the phospholipase C family, which catalyze the hydrolysis of phosphatidylinositol 4, 5-bisphosphate to generate the second messengers diacylglycerol and inositol 1, 4, 5-trisphosphate (IP3). Diacylglycerol and IP3 mediate a variety of cellular responses to extracellular stimuli by inducing protein kinase C and increasing cytosolic Ca(2+) concentrations. This enzyme localizes to the plasma membrane and requires calcium for activation. Its activity is inhibited by spermine, sphingosine, and several phospholipids.
