PSPH Antibody in Immunocytochemistry (ICC/IF) — Immunocytochemistry-Immunofluorescence analysis of PSPH in Hela cells. Cells were fixed with 4% PFA, permeabilized with 0.1% Triton X-100 in PBS, blocked with 10% serum, and incubated with PSPH Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-112143) (1:200) at 4°C overnight. Then cells were stained with the Alexa Fluor 488-conjugated Goat Anti-rabbit IgG secondary antibody (green). Positive staining was localized to Cytoplasm.

PSPH Antibody in Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin) (IHC (P)) — Immunohistochemistry analysis of PSPH in formalin-fixed paraffin embedded sections human prostate tissue sections using PSPH Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-112143) at a dilution of 1:3000.

PSPH Antibody in Western Blot (WB) — Western Blot analysis of PSPH using PSPH Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-112143) at a dilution of 1:500. Lane A: MCF7 whole cell lysate, Lane B: K-562 whole cell lysate, Lane C: Hep G2 whole cell lysate, (Lysates/proteins at 30 µg per lane). The secondary antibody used was a Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L)/HRP at 1:10,000 dilution. Developed using the ECL technique and performed under reducing conditions. Predicted band size: 25 kDa. Observed band size: 27 kDa.

PSPH Antibody in Immunoprecipitation (IP) — Immunoprecipitation of PSPH was performed on (Lane A) 0.5 mg K-562 whole cell lysate using 4 µL of PSPH Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-112143) at a dilution of 1:100, and 60 µg of Immunomagnetic beads Protein A/G. A Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L)/HRP was used as a secondary antibody at a dilution of 1:10,000. Developed using the ECL technique and performed under reducing conditions. Predicted band size: 25 kDa. Observed band size: 26 kDa.

Target Information

The protein encoded by this gene belongs to a subfamily of the phosphotransferases. This encoded enzyme is responsible for the third and last step in L-serine formation. It catalyzes magnesium-dependent hydrolysis of L-phosphoserine and is also involved in an exchange reaction between L-serine and L-phosphoserine. Deficiency of this protein is thought to be linked to Williams syndrome.
