PTPRO Antibody (PA5-75158) in IHC (P)
Immunohistochemistry analysis of PTPRO in paraffin-embedded human stomach carcinoma tissue (membrane and cytoplasmic staining) and negative control (right, with PBS only). Samples were incubated with PTPRO polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-75158) at a dilution of 1:50, followed by goat Anti-Rabbit IgG-biotin and avidin peroxidase.

The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Target Information
Glomerular epithelial protein 1 (GLEPP1), also designated protein tyrosine phosphatase U2 (PTPase U2) or receptor-type tyrosine-protein phosphatase O (PTPRO), belongs to the protein-tyrosine phosphatase family. GLEPP1 is a Type I membrane protein containing 8 fibronectin type-III domains and 1 tyrosine-protein phosphatase domain. GLEPP1 is expressed primarily in the glomeruli of the kidney, but is also detected in placenta, lung and brain.
