PA5-30141 targets PYCR1 in IHC (P) and WB applications and shows reactivity with Human samples.
The PA5-30141 immunogen is recombinant protein fragment corresponding to a region within amino acids 1 and 277 of Human PYCR1.
Store product as a concentrated solution. Centrifuge briefly prior to opening the vial. For short-term storage (1-2 weeks), product can be stored at 4°C. For long-term storage, aliquot and store product at -20° C or below, avioiding multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
This gene encodes an enzyme that catalyzes the NAD(P)H-dependent conversion of pyrroline-5-carboxylate to proline. This enzyme may also play a physiologic role in the generation of NADP(+) in some cell types. The protein forms a homopolymer and localizes to the mitochondrion. Alternate splicing results in two transcript variants encoding different isoforms.
