RBPMS Antibody in Immunocytochemistry (ICC/IF) — Immunocytochemistry-Immunofluorescence analysis of RBPMS was performed in A549 cells fixed in 4% paraformaldehyde at RT for 15 min. Green: RBPMS Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-31231) diluted at 1:500. Blue: Hoechst 33342 staining. Scale bar = 10 µm.

RBPMS Antibody in Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin) (IHC (P)) — Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin) analysis of RBPMS was performed in paraffin-embedded mouse retina tissue. Green: RBPMS stained by RBPMS Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-31231) at a dilution of 1:250. Red: beta Tubulin 3/ Tuj1, a marker, stained by beta Tubulin 3/ Tuj1 antibody. Blue: Fluoroshield with DAPI. Antigen Retrieval: Citrate buffer, pH 6.0, 15 min.

RBPMS Antibody in Western Blot (WB) — Western Blot analysis of RBPMS was performed by separating 30 µg of non-transfected (–) and transfected (+) 293T whole cell extracts by 12% SDS-PAGE. Proteins were transferred to a membrane and probed with a RBPMS Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-31231) at a dilution of 1:1000. The HRP-conjugated anti-rabbit IgG antibody was used to detect the primary antibody.

Target Information

This gene encodes a member of the RRM family of RNA-binding proteins. The RRM domain is between 80-100 amino acids in length and family members contain one to four copies of the domain. The RRM domain consists of two short stretches of conserved sequence called RNP1 and RNP2, as well as a few highly conserved hydrophobic residues. The protein encoded by this gene has a single, putative RRM domain in its N-terminus. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms.
