Immunocytochemistry analysis of RP2 using anti-RP2 antibody (Product # PA5-95581) . RP2 was detected in a section of U2OS cells. Enzyme antigen retrieval was performed using IHC enzyme antigen retrieval reagent for 15 mins. The cells were blocked with 10% goat serum and then incubated with 2μg/mL rabbit anti-RP2 antibody (Product # PA5-95581) overnight at 4°C. Reconstitute with 0.2 mL of distilled water to yield a concentration of 500 µg/mL.
Positive Control - WB: human placenta tissue, human SGC-7901 whole cell, rat lung tissue, mouse lung tissue. IHC: mouse spleen tissue, rat spleen tissue, human lung cancer tissue, human mammary cancer tissue, human placenta tissue, human placenta tissue. ICC/IF: U20S cell. Flow: A431 cell, THP-1 cell.|Store at -20°C for one year from date of receipt. After reconstitution, at 4°C for one month. It can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20°C for six months. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Target Information
The RP2 locus has been implicated as one cause of X-linked retinitis pigmentosa. The predicted gene product shows homology with human cofactor C, a protein involved in the ultimate step of beta-tubulin folding.
