Western blot analysis of RPS6KB2 in extracts of various cell lines. Samples were incubated with RPS6KB2 Polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-90447) using a dilution of 1:1,000, followed by HRP Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L) at a dilution of 1:10,000. Lysates/proteins: 25 µg per lane. Blocking buffer: 3% nonfat dry milk in TBST. Detection: ECL Basic Kit. Exposure time: 60s.

Target Information
RPS6KB2 (p70S6K beta) is a serine/threonine kinase with 2 non-identical kinase catalytic domains which phosphorylates the S6 ribosomal protein and eukaryotic translation initiation factor 4B (eIF4B). Phosphorylation of S6 leads to an increase in protein synthesis and cell proliferation.
