SCG3 Antibody (PA5-106375) in ICC/IF
Immunofluorescent analysis of SCG3 in HeLa cells. Samples were fixed with paraformaldehyde, permeabilized with 0.1% Triton X-100, blocked with 10% serum (45 min at 25°C), incubated with mouse anti-beta tubulin and SCG3 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-106375) using a dilution of 1:200 (1 hr, 37°C), and followed by goat anti-rabbit IgG Alexa Fluor 594 (red) and goat anti-mouse IgG Alexa Fluor 488 (green).

Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the chromogranin/secretogranin family of neuroendocrine secretory proteins. Granins may serve as precursors for biologically active peptides. Some granins have been shown to function as helper proteins in sorting and proteolytic processing of prohormones; however, the function of this protein is unknown. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
