SERPINF2 Antibody (PA5-47101) in IHC (F)
Immunohistochemical analysis of SERPINF2 in perfusion fixed frozen sections of mouse intestine. Samples were incubated in SERPINF2 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-47101) using a dilution of 5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C. Tissue was stained with the Anti-Goat HRP-DAB Cell & Tissue Staining Kit (brown) and counterstained with hematoxylin (blue).

In Western blots, approximately 15% cross-reactivity with recombinant human (rh) Serpin F2 and less than 1% cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse (rm) Serpin C1, rmSerpin D1, rhSerpin A1, rmSerpin A5, and rhSerpin C1 is observed.
Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
Target Information
This gene encodes a member of the serpin family of serine protease inhibitors. The protein is a major inhibitor of plasmin, which degrades fibrin and various other proteins. Consequently, the proper function of this gene has a major role in regulating the blood clotting pathway. Mutations in this gene result in alpha-2-plasmin inhibitor deficiency, which is characterized by severe hemorrhagic diathesis. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
