SET Antibody in Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin) (IHC (P)) — Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded mouse spleen tissue slide using (Product # 55201-1-AP) (SET/TAF-I antibody) at dilution of 1:200 (under 10x lens). Heat mediated antigen retrieval with Tris-EDTA buffer (pH 9.0).

SET Antibody in Western Blot (WB) — HEK-293 cells were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 55201-1-AP (SET antibody) at dilution of 1:1000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours.

This antibody is specific to SET. It can recognize isoform1 and isoform2 of SET.

Target Information

SET is a multitasking protein, involved in apoptosis, transcription, nucleosome assembly and histone binding. Isoform 2 anti-apoptotic activity is mediated by inhibition of the GZMA-activated DNase, NME1.
