          SHP2 Antibody (PA5-95069) in ICC/IF

          Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence analysis of SHP2 in PC-3 cells using SHP2 Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-95069). Enzyme antigen retrieval was performed using IHC enzyme antigen retrieval reagent for 15 mins. The cells were blocked with 10% goat serum and incubated with the primary antibody at 5 µg/mL. DyLight 488 conjugated goat anti-rabbit IgG was used as secondary antibody at 1:500 dilution and incubated for 30 minutes at 37°C. The section was counterstained with DAPI.           Reconstitute with 0.2 mL of distilled water to yield a concentration of 500 µg/mL.

          Positive Control - WB: human Jurkat whole cell, human CCRF-CEM whole cell, human Raji whole cell, human PC-3 whole cell, rat brain tissuerat C6 whole cellmouse brain tissuemouse 3T3-L1 whole cell. IHC: human lung tissue. ICC/IF: PC-3 cell. Flow: CACO-2 cell.|Store at -20°C for one year from date of receipt. After reconstitution, at 4°C for one month. It can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20°C for six months. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

          Target Information

          The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the protein tyrosine phosphatase (PTP) family. PTPs are known to be signaling molecules that regulate a variety of cellular processes including cell growth, differentiation, mitotic cycle, and oncogenic transformation. This PTP contains two tandem Src homology-2 domains, which function as phospho-tyrosine binding domains and mediate the interaction of this PTP with its substrates. This PTP is widely expressed in most tissues and plays a regulatory role in various cell signaling events that are important for a diversity of cell functions, such as mitogenic activation, metabolic control, transcription regulation, and cell migration. Mutations in this gene are a cause of Noonan syndrome as well as acute myeloid leukemia.
