Western blot analysis of SI-CLP in extracts of mouse pancreas. Samples were incubated with SI-CLP Polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-95695) using a dilution of 1:1,000, followed by HRP Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L) at a dilution of 1:10,000. Lysates/proteins: 25 µg per lane. Blocking buffer: 3% nonfat dry milk in TBST. Detection: ECL Basic Kit. Exposure time: 1s.

Target Information
SI-CLP detects human Stabilin-interacting chitinase like protein (SI-CLP), a novel member of the Glyco-18-domain containing protein family. SI-CLP is a secretory protein which is up-regulated in response to interleukin-4 and dexamethasone in activated macrophages. SI-CLP is also expressed by T- and B-lymphocytes, and by cells of monocytic and epithelial origin. SI-CLP is the ligand for stabilin-1, an intracellular sorting receptor which sorts SI-CLP into late endosomes and secretory lysosomes in activated macrophages.
