SLC16A11 Antibody (PA5-98710) in ICC/IF
Immunofluorescent analysis of SLC16A11 in A549 cells using a SLC16A11 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-98710) at a dilution of 1:150. The cells were fixed in 4% formaldehyde, permeabilized using 0.2% Triton X-100 and blocked in 10% normal Goat Serum. The cells were then incubated with the antibody overnight at 4°C. The secondary antibody was Alexa Fluor 488-congugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L). Cells were counter-stained with DAPI.

Target Information
Proton-linked monocarboxylate transporter. It catalyzes the transport of pyruvate across the plasma membrane (PubMed:28666119). Probably involved in hepatic lipid metabolism: overexpression results in an increase of triacylglycerol(TAG) levels, small increases in intracellular diacylglycerols and decreases in lysophosphatidylcholine, cholesterol ester and sphingomyelin lipids (PubMed:24390345).
