Immunohistochemistry analysis of SLC30A2 in human kidney cancer and adjacent normal tissues. The sample was formaldehyde fixed and a heat mediated antigen retrieval step in citrate buffer was performed. Samples were incubated with SLC30A2 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-99761) using a dilution of 1:100 (4°C overnight) followed by HRP conjugated anti-Rabbit secondary antibody.

Target Information
The protein encoded by the SLC30A2 gene is a zinc transporter that acts as a homodimer. The encoded protein plays a role in secreting zinc into breast milk. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
