TAS2R40 Antibody (PA5-99929) in IHC (P)
Immunohistochemistry analysis of TAS2R40 in rat heart tissue. The sample was formaldehyde fixed and a heat mediated antigen retrieval step in citrate buffer was performed. Samples were incubated with TAS2R40 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-99929) using a dilution of 1:100 (4°C overnight) followed by HRP conjugated anti-Rabbit secondary antibody.

Target Information
Gustducin-coupled receptor implicated in the perception of bitter compounds in the oral cavity and the gastrointestinal tract. Signals through PLCB2 and the calcium-regulated cation channel TRPM5. Expressed in subsets of taste receptor cells of the tongue and exclusively in gustducin-positive cells. Several bitter taste receptors are expressed in a single taste receptor cell.
