TCF4 Antibody (PA5-25659) in WB
Western blot analysis of TCF4 in various lysates. Samples were incubated with TCF4 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-25659) using a dilution of 1:1,000 followed by Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG, (H+L), Peroxidase conjugated at a dilution of 1:10,000. Lysates/proteins: 20 µg per lane. Lane 1: HepG2 whole cell lysate; Lane 2: K562 whole cell lysate; Lane 3: Mouse cerebellum whole tissue lysate. Predicted band size: 71 kDa. Blocking/Dilution buffer: 5% NFDM/TBST.

Target Information
TCF4 is transcription factor 4, a basic helix-turn-helix transcription factor. The encoded protein recognizes an Ephrussi-box ('E-box') binding site ('CANNTG')-a motif first identified in immunoglobulin enhancers. This gene is expressed predominantly in pre-B-cells, although it is found in other tissues as well. Defects in this gene are a cause of Pitt-Hopkins syndrome.
