TMED5 Antibody (PA5-144026) in ICC/IF
Immunocytochemistry analysis of TMED5 in A431 cells. Enzyme antigen retrieval was performed using IHC enzyme antigen retrieval reagent for 15 mins. The cells were blocked with 10% goat serum. Samples were then incubated in TMED5 Polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-144026) using a dilution of 5 μg/mL. Adding 0.2 mL of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500 µg/mL.
Positive Control - WB: human K562 whole cell, rat lung tissue, rat stomach tissue, rat C6 whole cell, mouse RAW2647 whole cell. ICC/IF: A431 cell.|Store at -20°C for one year from date of receipt. Target Information
The TMED5 gene encodes the transmembrane emp24 domain-containing protein 5, a member of the TMED family, which is involved in intracellular protein trafficking. This family is essential for the transport of proteins between the endoplasmic reticulum and the Golgi apparatus. TMED5 is a member of the γ subfamily and has been shown to regulate vital cellular processes, including protein secretion and signal transduction. Dysregulation of TMED5 has been implicated in various diseases, including hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). Increased expression of TMED5 mRNA in HCC tissues is associated with poorer overall survival rates compared to normal tissues, suggesting its role in tumor progression and metastasis.
