TMEM88 Antibody (PA5-144031) in ICC/IF
Immunocytochemistry analysis of TMEM88 in U2OS cells. Enzyme antigen retrieval was performed using IHC enzyme antigen retrieval reagent for 15 mins. The cells were blocked with 10% goat serum. Samples were then incubated in TMEM88 Polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-144031) using a dilution of 5 μg/mL. Adding 0.2 mL of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500 µg/mL.
Positive Control - WB: human MCF-7 whole cell. ICC/IF: U20S cell.|Store at -20°C for one year from date of receipt. After reconstitution, at 4°C for one month. It can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20°C for six months. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Target Information
Transmembrane protein 88 (TMEM88) is a two-transmembrane-type protein whose C-terminal tail has been shown to bind the PDZ domain of Dishevelled (Dvl), one of the key components in Wnt signaling pathways. TMEM88 attentuated the Wnt/beta-catenin signaling induced by Wnt-1 ligand in a dose-dependent manner and knockdown of TMEM88 by RNAi increased Wnt activity, suggesting that TMEM88 plays a role in regulating Wnt signaling in a context-dependent manner.
