Western Blot analysis of TPI1 in Human Liver lysate (35 µg protein in RIPA buffer) using TPI1 Polyclonal Antibody, Biotin (Product # PA5-142133) at 0.03 µg/mL incubated for 1 hour. Detected by chemiluminescence, using streptavidin-HRP and using NAP blocker as a substitute for skimmed milk.

Target Information
This gene encodes an enzyme, consisting of two identical proteins, which catalyzes the isomerization of glyceraldehydes 3-phosphate and dihydroxy-acetone phosphate in glycolysis and gluconeogenesis. Mutations in this gene are associated with triosephosphate isomerase deficiency. Pseudogenes have been identified on chromosomes 1, 4, 6 and 7. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
