Product Specific Information
Store lyophilized/reconstituted at -20°C; once reconstituted make aliquots to avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Please remember to spin the tubes briefly prior to opening them to avoid any losses that might occur from material adhering to the cap or sides of the tube.
For reconstitution add 50 µL of sterile water.

Target Information
TPL, also called TOPLESS, is a plant transcriptional co repressor that binds EAR motif containing repressors and bridges them to chromatin remodeling machinery to silence target genes. It partners with proteins such as AUX IAA, JAZ, and NINJA to modulate auxin and jasmonate signaling, and with other transcription factors to shape embryogenesis, meristem function, and organ patterning. TPL recruits histone deacetylases and other chromatin modifiers, tightening nucleosome packing and reducing transcription at specific loci. Multiple TPL and TPL related proteins provide redundancy and specificity across tissues and developmental stages. Perturbation of TPL alters hormone sensitivity, growth, and stress responses by shifting the balance of activation and repression in key regulatory networks.
