TTK Antibody (A300-296A) in IP
Detection of human TTK by western blot of immunoprecipitates. Samples: Whole cell lysate (1.0 mg per IP reaction; 20% of IP loaded) from HEK293T cells prepared using NETN lysis buffer. Antibodies: Affinity purified Rabbit anti-TTK antibody (Product # A300-296A) (lot 4) used for IP at 6 µg per reaction. TTK was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-TTK antibody BL1544. For blotting immunoprecipitated TTK, A300-296A was used at 0.1 µg/mL. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 3 minutes.

Target Information
TTK is a serine/threonine kinase closely related to SPK1, PIM 1 and CDC2 serine/threonine kinases. TTK is a dual-specificity kinase, which can also phosphorylate tyrosine. It consists of a common heteromeric core enzyme, which is composed of a catalytic subunit and a constant regulatory subunit, that associates with a variety of regulatory subunits. The constant regulatory subunit A serves as a scaffolding molecule to coordinate the assembly of the catalytic subunit and a variable regulatory B subunit. TTK encodes an alpha isoform of the constant regulatory subunit A. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been described.
