Talin-1 Antibody in Immunocytochemistry (ICC/IF) — Immunofluorescent analysis of (-20°C Ethanol) fixed HepG2 cells using 14168-1-AP (Talin-1 antibody) at dilution of 1:100 and Alexa Fluor 488-Conjugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L).

Talin-1 Antibody in Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin) (IHC (P)) — Immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded human liver cancer tissue slide using 14168-1-AP ( Talin-1 antibody at dilution of 1:200 (under 40x lens). heat mediated antigen retrieved with Tris-EDTA buffer (pH 9).

Talin-1 Antibody in Western Blot (WB) — NIH/3T3 cells were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 14168-1-AP (Talin-1 antibody) at dilution of 1:500 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours.

Talin-1 Antibody in Flow Cytometry (Flow) — 1X10^6 HepG2 cells were stained with 0.2ug Talin-1 antibody (14168-1-AP, red) and control antibody (blue). Fixed with 90% MeOH blocked with 3% BSA (30 min). Alexa Fluor 488-conjugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Rabbit IGG (H+L) with dilution 1:1000.

Target Information

Talin, a multifunctional constituent of cell-substratum attachment sites, is a high molecular weight protein (225-235 kDa) found in variety of tissues and cell types. It is localized at a subset of adherens junctions, specialized cell-cell and cell-matrix associations that are characterized by the presence of filamentous actin at the cytoplasmic face of the junctional complex. In cultured cells, talin is absent from cell-cell junctions and found predominantly at adhesion plaques and in fibrillar streaks underlying cell surface fibronectin. Talin interacts with at least two other proteins that are localized at adhesion plaques, vinculin and integrin.
