Tenascin R Antibody (PA5-47546) in IHC (P)
Immunohistochemical analysis of Tenascin R in immersion fixed paraffin-embedded sections of human brainstem (medulla). Samples were incubated in Tenascin R polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-47546) using a dilution of 1.7 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C. Tissue was stained with the Anti-Goat HRP-DAB Cell & Tissue Staining Kit (brown) and counterstained with hematoxylin (blue).

Target Information
Tenascin-R (TNR) is an extracellular matix protein expressed primarily in the central nervous system. It is a member of the tenascin (TN) gene family, which includes at least 3 genes in mammals: TNC (or hexabrachion; MIM 187380), TNX (TNXB; MIM 600985), and TNR (Erickson, 1993). The genes are expressed in distinct tissues at different times during embryonic development and are present in adult tissues.
