UROD Antibody in Immunocytochemistry (ICC/IF) — Immunofluorescent analysis of (-20°C Ethanol) fixed HEK-293 cells using UROD antibody (Product # 15547-1-AP) at dilution of 1:200 and CoraLite®488-Conjugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L).

UROD Antibody in Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin) (IHC (P)) — Immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded human kidney tissue slide using 15547-1-AP ( UROD antibody) at dilution of 1:100 (under 40x lens).

Target Information

This gene encodes the fifth enzyme of the heme biosynthetic pathway. This enzyme is responsible for catalyzing the conversion of uroporphyrinogen to coproporphyrinogen through the removal of four carboxymethyl side chains. Mutations and deficiency in this enzyme are known to cause familial porphyria cutanea tarda and hepatoerythropoetic porphyria.
