VAMP8 Antibody in Immunohistochemistry (IHC) — Immunohistochemical staining of VAMP8 in human placenta using a VAMP8 Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-52358) shows cytoplasmic positivity in trophoblastic cells.

VAMP8 Antibody in Western Blot (WB) — Western blot was performed using Anti-VAMP8 Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-52358) and 11.4 kDa band corresponding to VAMP8 was observed in U937, Raji, Mouse Lung but not in SH-SY5Y, IMR32 and Mouse Brain which are reported to be negative. Whole cell extracts (30 µg lysate) of U937 (Lane 1), Raji (Lane 2), SH-SY5Y (Lane 3), IMR32 (Lane 4), tissue extracts (30 µg lysate) of Mouse Lung (Lane 5) and Mouse Brain (Lane 6) were electrophoresed using Novex™ 16% Tricine Protein Gel (Product # EC6695BOX). Resolved proteins were then transferred onto a nitrocellulose membrane (Product # IB23001) by iBlot® 2 Dry Blotting System (Product # IB21001). The blot was probed with the primary antibody (0.4 µg/mL) and detected by chemiluminescence with Goat anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L) Superclonal™ Recombinant Secondary Antibody, HRP (Product # A27036, 1:4000 dilution) using the iBright FL 1000 (Product # A32752). Chemiluminescent detection was performed using Novex® ECL Chemiluminescent Substrate Reagent Kit (Product # WP20005).

VAMP8 Antibody — Relative expression in different tissues in IHC: Detection of differential expression levels of VAMP8 demonstrates antibody specificity. Immunohistochemical analysis of VAMP8 using anti-VAMP8 Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-52358), shows significant staining of VAMP8 in human placenta and shows minimal or weak staining in human cerebral cortex tissues. The relative expression levels of VAMP8 within each tissue is shown using RNA-Seq.
