ZBTB2 Antibody (BS-7707R) in IHC (P)
Paraformaldehyde-fixed, paraffin embedded mouse brain; Antigen retrieval by boiling in sodium citrate buffer (pH6.0) for 15min; Block endogenous peroxidase by 3% hydrogen peroxide for 20 minutes; Blocking buffer (normal goat serum) at 37°C for 30min; Antibody incubation with ZBTB2 Polyclonal Antibody (bs-7707R) at 1:400 overnight at 4°C, followed by a conjugated secondary for 20 minutes and DAB staining.

Target Information
ZBTB2 is a transcription factor gene that belongs to the BTB/POZ zinc-finger family, characterized by a BTB/POZ domain at the N-terminus and multiple zinc-finger domains at the C-terminus. This gene is known for its role in regulating gene expression, particularly in the repression of genes like ARF, p53, and p21, and it functions as both a repressor and activator. ZBTB2 interacts with a variety of proteins involved in complex biological processes such as RNA processing, transcription regulation, and DNA packaging. Its zinc-finger domains predominantly belong to C2H2 and PHD types. ZBTB2 is involved in nucleosome remodeling through its interaction with chromatin modifiers and histone chaperones during developmental cell state transitions. The gene has been implicated in human cancers, where it functions as an oncogene, particularly in gastric cancers, and plays a role in the development of chronic myeloid leukemia. ZBTB2's localization at promoter regions is noted for colocalizing with several other chromatin-modifying proteins like EP400, KAT5, MBD3, and CHD4, indicating its significant role in chromatin dynamics.
