GeneArt Strings DNA Libraries

GeneArt™ Strings™ DNA Libraries are linear DNA Fragments from 200 – 2,000 bp, containing up to 3 blocks of degenerate nucleotides. Each block can consist of up to 30 bp using the full IUPAC code. Blocks need to be separated by 30 bp of non-degenerate nucleotides. At least 500 ng are typically shipped within 10-15 business days.

GeneArt Express Cloning

Using an alternative production procedure with pre-prepared expression vectors, GeneArt™ can clone your synthesized genes directly into selected Invitrogen™ expression plasmids, saving 4-5 business days compared to the standard workflow with cloning into pMx series vector first.

This Express cloning option is different from our subcloning service after gene synthesis. As deliverable, you will receive expression ready genes - your synthesized gene in the selected expression vector, no additional copy in a pMx cloning vector will be provided.

How to order

Just add the express cloning service by clicking the respective box when you fill in your gene synthesis requirements (it’s not necessary to draw a subcloning icon).

The assistant will calculate the fragments < 3,000 bp you can order as Strings and assemble to your full length gene using the GeneArt™ Seamless Cloning and Assembly technology.

Improved guidance for starting a project comes along with a new, tabulated view, providing all major project information at a glance. New sorting function and new search function help to find required information. The most recently used project folder will be open by default, project history can be expanded & collapsed.

2. Project Configurator
New design and layout with horizontal grouping of services enables functional displaying of all important information and allows for reduced scrolling and intuitive navigation.

3. Navigation
Guidance through the major ordering steps now is supported by a new navigation bar.

Easy subcloning into your customized vector of choice

Your custom vectors will get available in your individual short list "My portal vectors" as soon as they have been ordered once. Any future cloning into one of these vectors will then require only entering the name plus one click for selection of your vector.
