Analytical testing laboratories across a variety of sectors, including food, environmental, industrial and pharma, can now meet their ever-increasing efficiency and productivity needs with a collection of new Thermo Scientific gas chromatography (GC) and GC-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) instruments offering innovative hardware and software updates.

In my previous blog post, I was excited about the upcoming GC/GC-MS launch event — and now I can report that it was truly a success. A big audience worldwide enjoyed the Virtual Innovation Summit on March 8-9, when new systems were introduced live in a virtual demo. An additional session offered attendees the ability to hear customer testimonials describing enhanced analytical performance and facilitated workflows for Pharma, Food Safety and Environmental laboratories that have helped them to work more efficiently and eliminate nonproductive time.

If you missed this exciting event, you can still listen to all the presentations on-demand and download a comprehensive library of literature, accessible in the event platform. You can browse within different categories and filter content by resource type “Application Note, Brochure, Case Study, Innovation and Video” to quickly find what you are looking for.

I mentioned that customer feedback was key to implementing new features to enable increased operational efficiency, ease of use and profitability for both the analytical testing laboratory and research organization.

To get a flavor of what is offered by the new GC/GCMS product evolution, look at these videos:

Or even better, you can hear directly from customers who had the opportunity to work with the new Thermo Scientific GC and GC-MS systems:

And if you’d like an interactive experience with the new TRACE 1610 GC, you can enjoy a virtual tour of the product. The GC can be rotated 360 degrees, with animations triggered by a mouse-click, guiding you through the many instrument features.
