Using STR genotyping for cheetah conservation

In this latest episode of #LabChat, Dr. Anne Schmidt-Küntzel discusses the efforts of the Cheetah Conservation Fund in Otjiwarongo, Namibia that uses microsatellite sequencing analysis to help preserve the genetic diversity of the existing cheetah population. About one-third of all surviving cheetahs live in Namibia.
